Fixed fees, confirmed in writing.
Every return is quoted as a fixed fee after the scoping call, so the price reflects your actual return — entity type, number of states, number of K-1s — before you commit to anything. No hourly meter, no surprise invoice in April.
Clients on a monthly accounting plan receive preferred pricing on tax preparation. See our Services & Pricing page for current plans.
Tax planning, when you want it
Return preparation is the baseline. For clients who want to get ahead of next year, we offer tax planning as a separate engagement:
- Quarterly estimated payment calculations from real year-to-date numbers
- Entity-structure and S corporation election analysis
- Retirement plan and contribution strategy
- Year-end projections and timing of income, deductions, and purchases
Ask about it on the scoping call, or add it later — it's never required to work with us.
Why clients bring their returns to Arthur Financial Advisory
A senior CPA prepares and signs your return. Not a seasonal preparer, not a junior reviewed once at the end. The person you talk to is the person doing the work.
Complex returns are the norm here, not the exception. Investment partnerships, multi-property real estate, trusts, and multi-state households are what we do every day.
Fixed fees, in writing. You'll know what the return costs before we start.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be an accounting client to use your tax services? No. Most tax clients come to us for returns only. Accounting clients receive preferred pricing, and their returns are prepared from books we already keep.
Which states do you file in? All 50 states. We're a fully virtual firm and prepare multi-state individual and business returns regularly.
Can you take over from my current preparer? Yes. We'll request prior returns and workpapers, review them for carryforwards and missed items, and pick up from there.
Do you handle IRS or state notices? Yes. If a notice arrives on a return we prepared, we handle the response. For returns prepared elsewhere, notice response is scoped as a separate engagement.
How fast can you start? Onboarding typically takes 1–2 weeks from engagement letter. If you have a deadline inside 30 days, say so on the call — we'll tell you honestly whether it's makeable.
Your next filing deadline is closer than it looks.
A 30-minute call: where last year's return stands, what your situation requires, and a written fixed-fee quote. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you who is.
